Ustad Awalmir is one of those National singers whose voice is alive forever,Such a voice whice is very familier to each and every Afghan and to the lover of Pashto Music around the World.

It has been 25 years since Ustad Awalmir closed his eyes from this world and left the Afghan Nation alone with his phenomenon voice.

Ustad Awalmir was born in 1312 in Pashtonkhwa ( Peshawar),He was still young while the shadow of mother love departed from his life.After the death of his mother Ustad encountered the sorrows of the dark days,despite these dark days of his life he graduated from 10th grade.

Yet he was 10 years old that the passion of music was running through his blood.Later he started to learn music from Ustad Jafar in Peshawar, while being a student of ustad Jafer he performed several concerts.He continued learning music from other music teachers of the time.

All these Hazards and the passion for music took him to the Radio Station.
His First song he sung at Peshawar Radio station was (My Heart Got Into Pieces) ( زړگى مې شو ټوټې ټوټې ) ,which made Ustad Awalmir shine like the shining Stars of the Night.

At the age of 18 Ustad Made a trip to Kabul in order to perform the independence Day Concert and stayed there for the rest of his life.

In the Radio Station of Afghanistan Ustad Awalmir got break through the help of Malang jan and Made him a place at the hearts of all Afghan Nation with the sweet and magical voice

Malang jan the well knwon Poet of Afghanistan whose poetry is contributed to Afghan Nation and Afghanistan,became the best friend of Ustad Awalmir.

Ustad Awalmir converted the sweet  poems of Malang jan in to music,which gave him the honor of being USTAD from the Ministry of Culture and Information in 1350.

In 1361 Ustad Awalmir said Good Bye To all of us but his voice still lives in the heart of every one.
